If you are just starting on your fertility journey, you may want to look at our page on the normal fertility cycle. This will give you a better understanding of the different treatments and how they help achieve fertility. Below is a list of the services we offer and a definition of what these therapies entail.
- Controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH): This is the process in which fertility hormones stimulate increased egg production and better egg development.
- Intrauterine insemination (IUI): This is a procedure in which sperm are cleansed and then placed into the uterine cavity in a concentrated specimen. This procedure is used mostly in cases of cervical factor or male factor infertility.
- In-vitro Fertilization (IVF): This process begins with fertility medications, followed by egg removal and fertilization. Finally, the best developing embryos are transferred into the uterus.
- Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD): This allows hopeful parents and doctors to screen for genetic problems that may affect the baby's health and provides an opportunity for gender selection.
- Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI): Is a procedure in which a sperm is selected by the embryologist and injected into the egg. This procedure is used in cases of severe male factor infertility, or to insure better fertilization rates.
- Egg Donation is used in cases of decreased ovarian reserve which can be due to age or premature ovarian failure.
- Gestational Carriers (Gestation Surrogates) are used when the uterus is absent or has an abnormality inhibiting the successful outcome of a pregnancy.
